Lisa Grimes
Hi, my name is Lisa Grimes. I am a student at the University of Tampa’s prestigious Sykes College of Business. I will graduate in May 2024 with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Business Analytics. Initially, I was a finance student for most of my college career. After interning at Servion Mortgage Company, I shifted my educational focus to Marketing. Since changing my major, I have completed a Marketing Internship at Minetum Counseling. I involve myself in multiple organizations on campus. I am a Delta Phi Epsilon sorority member and I have held two coordinator positions during my time as a member. I am also the Director of Website for the American Marketing Association at the University of Tampa.
Education
I am working towards my major in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics at the University of Tampa College of Business. The College of Business is AACSB Accredited and has an excellent curriculum. My current course work focuses on Personal Selling, Digital Marketing and Marketing Research. I am graduating in May 2024.
Work Experience
I have a great variety of work experience, I started as a hostess and server and worked in customer service for four years. Then I completed an Internship at Servion Mortgage and a Marketing Internship at Minetum Counseling where I gained valuable Marketing experience.
Hard Skills
In addition to my formal education, I have completed certifications in Hubspot Inbound Marketing, Hubspot Content Marketing, Hubspot Social Media, Hubspot Email Marketing, Google Analytics, Sales Management and Google Ads.
Soft Skills
I have developed strong skills in teamwork, communication, organization and critical thinking skills through my previous work experience and involvement on campus. I developed these skills during my internship at Servion Mortgage, my internship at Minetum Consulting, and while holding leadership positions for Delta Phi Epsilon and the American Marketing Association.
